Το νέο μοντέλο Storm 2255 του κυπριακού ναυπηγείου Karnic έχει προταθεί για το βραβείο European Powerboat of the year του οποίου τα αποτελέσματα θα ανακοινωθούν σε μια τελετή στα πλαίσια του Ναυτικού Σαλονιού στο Dusseldorf. Το σκάφος είναι κατασκευασμένο με τα γνωστά πρότυπα της Karnic με υλικά καλής ποιότητας και διακρίνεται για την πολυεστερική οροφή που στεγάζει την καμπίνα και το χώρο διακυβέρνησης και το πίσω κατάστρωμα που περιλαμβάνει πολλές καθιστικές ανέσεις. Αυτή η διάκριση είναι μια αναγνώριση στην συστηματική προσήλωση της Karnic στην ποιότητα και εξαιρετική σχεδίαση.  

The new Storm 2255 model of Cypriot shipyard Karnic has been nominated for the European Powerboat of the year Award for which final results will be announced at a ceremony in the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2014. The boat is constructed with the known Karnic standards and with quality materials featuring a composite roof that shelters the cabin and the pilot house alongside a spacious and comfortable aft deck with generous seating options. This nomination is  a recognition of Karnic’s systematic commitment to quality and high standards design.

Storm 2255 nominated for European Powerboat of the Year Award 2014

Karnic’s Storm 2255 has been nominated for the European Powerboat of the year Award for which results will be announced at a ceremony during Boot Dusseldorf 2014.

The company launched Storm 2255 in early 2013 with the objective to offer the high quality, detail and distinctive style of Karnic at very competitive pricing using advanced manufacturing processes and efficient production control. Since then the model has been produced at constant pace and units have been delivered as far as Australia.

Storm 2255 features a spacious aft cockpit with a continuous aft bench and plenty of storage with four storage compartments and side pockets. Aft cockpit seating can be optionally extended to an 'L' or 'U' shape layout with the possibility to move the salon table in the middle. The interior includes the salon area for three and a galley opposite that enables optional installation of electric refrigerator. The fully cushioned forward cabin provides comfortable accommodation for two adults and the possibility for a concealed marine toilet unit or potta– pitti.

Construction remains at the known standards of Karnic, with a composite roof structure and bonded safety glass for all windscreens. A forward cabin hatch and side cockpit windows provide thorough ventilation of the space whereas a large sunroof opening virtually converts the interior to open. As all Karnic models, the 2255 features an all composite construction with foam filled stringer system.
